Dismantlement of tanks farms and process structure and equipment. The work involves rigging of tanks and process equipment for re-purposing. The job is in progress and will use a 45ton and 175-ton hydraulic cranes to rig out tanks and dismantle the structure from the top down.

Country Mill Dismantlement
January 2019 – April 2019
Removal of rolling mill equipment to facilitate the construction of a new rolling mill. All equipment was downsized and then rigged out using a 40-ton overhead crane.

Dismantle of bag house, ash silo, ductwork and equipment from the boiler house area. Equipment had to be rigged down as area was still operating. Rigging was done at heights of up to 80’.

Dismantlement of process equipment via lowering through the floors to ground level. Top of structure was at the 80’ level. Work was done with a combination of chain falls and 45t hydraulic carne.

Boiler Demolition
Aug 2018 – Oct 2018
Dismantlement of large package boiler surrounded by operating equipment and utility lines, the stack and economizer were 60’ in height and where dismantled using a hydraulic crane to facilitate the torch cutting of the boiler, steam drums and tubes at grade level.

Powerhouse Demolition
March 2016 – Oct 2016
Dismantlement of old coal boiler house and miscellaneous structures. The elevated water tank onsite (125’ in height) was dismantled and rigged down via 175’ ton crane due to live natural gas lines and valves under the elevated water tank structure.

Boiler Demolition Project
Oct. 2016 – March 2017
Dismantlement of a steam boiler that was located in a live operating utility area. The boiler was dismantled from the bottom to the top with the steam drum and structure then rigged down using 175-ton crane. The boiler was surrounded by live steam, process and electric and required very selective dismantlement and re-supports as part of the structure remained in order to support live lines that remained.

Demolition of Process Unit
May 2017 – July 2017
Dismantlement of a process unit, consisting of rigging the steel structure and process equipment. The process unit was 100’ in height and the work had to be completed using cold cut methods due to being in an operating location.

The project consisted of dismantlement of several process units and the rigging of process equipment for re-purposing from structures up to 60’ in height.
